Vaugeois: Schreiber wastewater project a major step for Northwestern Ontario

SCHREIBER – NDP MPP Lise Vaugeois (Thunder Bay – Superior North) has released the following statement after the town of Schreiber is receiving a new wastewater treatment plant:

“After years of pushing for upgrades, it’s great to see this project moving forward. This kind of investment in core infrastructure is important for communities like Schreiber, especially in Northwestern Ontario where aging systems are in desperate need of updating.

“People deserve reliable services, and the infrastructure needed to support a good life, now and in the future, and this milestone ensures residents can count on clean water for all generations to come.”
